GRAZING HORSE GOLD STUDY

Created in 2019, and measuring 47cm x 39cm when framed, Grazing Horse Study was the study piece for the larger Grazing Horse. Inspired by how sculptors make a maquette before they embark on for example a life size horse. I liked the idea of this and thought I could adapt the concept to creating my large scale etchings. From making a study piece, this gives me a lot more confidence when it comes to creating the large scale version. As well, creating another edition piece of artwork to exhibit.
